hands down the best way to find a computers RAM capabilities is to use crucial.com and input the make/model it will tell you how many slots and max per slot. having used it 100's of times, it has only been wrong a handful of times and that was only bc that particular model of PC was actually a limited run that was slightly different.

if you have access to the PC at the time, it will even scan it to see how many GB you have and more importantly how it is spread out (1 8gb stick in one slot or 2 4gb sticks in both slots, etc)

it also gives you links to their ram which you can buy to upgrade (reasonably priced, no SD level prices there usually). which is really great if you feel uneasy about picking ram and matching stats.
Hey, no SD rebate !!!!

The microsoft store had the same laptop on sale except with the 4k screen at the same price. Now that said, I never did see it in stock at that price...

Man, the price is right for the specs. Still worried about the display based on previous threads about how it's all luck-of-the-draw based on which vendor made the screen in the laptop you get.

This is an ordinary deal ... I've seen 1080p / ssd / 8gb ram / ips / 960m deals in the ~$700 range all year long on here.

Yes, extremely easily too. A single screw at the bottom panel opens up everything. Pop and play.

Edit - there is an extra slot for additional RAM, just fyi.

It attracts lots of dust, just to let you know. Maybe because its black or because of material i guess.

Good deal but waiting to see Nvidia 1070/1080 in a laptop first. Will also drive the price down further on these.

I doubt that one, you'll be waiting months for a 1060 and I doubt this price will reduce past & 650 for a while
