Previous discussion: neutral to positive, negative seem to be primarily potential bleeding effect around edges, not present on all TVs and may improve over time, per previous posters:

Do you own this TV? What evidence do you have of Major return issues? Information like that is completely useless without context.

EDIT: Checking out your post history I see you bought a couple different models from this brand. I can understand being sour after having to return 2 that had major issues. Hopefully this one doesn't suffer the same problems.
I've had this tv since December and I can't complain about it at all. I am not sure as to the quality control as other people seem to have problems. I am debating whether or not I should pick up another one of these or not...
Sceptre is having major return issues following the 4k transition. speculation is the components are too light duty.

I'm starting to believe I won't be able to find one of those clearance Walmart TVs and, as such, this is looking like a decent option for me.

Want 55", am OKAY with 1080p, but figure I might as well go 4k if possible. Anyone have experience with this exact model?

I don't know much about 4k tech, but I'm assuming this doesn't have any high end features such as 4:4:4 or HDR (honestly only buzz terms to me at this point as I haven't totally researched their significance..)

I just purchased this tv about three weeks ago. Picture is decent. Sound is meh. What I do like is gaming at 4K. This tv has very low lag. I am running r9 390 in crossfire and getting 60fps with 4K. Very happy as an inexpensive gaming monitor.

I had this for 3 days and then the mother board fried, picture turned reverse negative. Had to return. For the 1st 2 days it was OK. Fairly decent picture (although lots of Halo around edges), blurry motion, no built in apps which is kind of necessary to get true 4k content unless you have an additionally purchased accessory adding to the cost.

Overall Experience with Sceptre brand 1.5/10. If you happen to get a couple a years out of the deal it might be a good deal. For the hassle/uncertainty my personal advice is to pass.
