Just found this today for $149.95. Phone comes with $35 credit on Boost Mobile, stylus, car charger and colored case. Best deal I have seen on this phone. Phone is not unlocked and is for Boost Mobile service. HSN is offer 4 flex pays, basically zero percent finance with no credit check.

Good phone and carrier is just fine. I bet you got Ringplus and loving your free talk, text and data per month. Your not complaining when your getting it for free. But what to complain for paid service. GTFOOH.

I guess I can kind of understand the Boost Mobile bashing but the Galaxy J7 is excellent for $115 if you use them.

I bought this at 150 from the Best Buy sale for my wife and well worth it.

It says to see the pamphlet for the '1 month of service free' that is being touted as a 35 value. Sounds like their new user deal that does not work for if your already on boost mobile. The extras are nice and at 150 its still good even if you can't use the 'free month'. you should be below 35 if you did the shrinking payments or data grow with reboost.

Good, because I'm finding the specs on this thing confusing. Can you tell me if the Boost version of this is the 2016 or 2015 model? It's specs seem a confusing mix of both. Particularly I'd like to know the SoC and RAM.

Should be 2016 that's what it says on boosts site. has 16gb internal 2gb ram and 1.4 ghz (per box) octocore processor.

about device shows

Software version

J700PVPU1APB7

Hardware version

J700P.03

Model number

SM-J700P

I did some searches and some links are stating 2015 and should have old android but its 6.0.1 installed. The specs are off as well. This seems accurate.

this is right. I just ran spec device. voltage is showing higher for the battery at 4180 but all specs are the same (proc gpu etc). not sure why ram is coming up 0 it should be 2gb.

Thanks. I just called them actually and found out the Boost Mobile J7 doesn't have the same specs as either version listed online. Unfortunately the processor is a bit weaker, Snapdragon 415 vs 615/17, but at least the GPU is the same as the other models. Still a good deal imo especially considering the nice size AMOLED.

Well I just hope the 0 mb RAM isn't right. As far as I'm seeing it seems like the 2015 model with a weaker CPU and more RAM. Fair trade-off I guess.

I have this phone with boost, it is the 2015 with better specs inside. Make sure you get the 2015 screen protector/case. The differences between the models are the front camera position, the speaker and camera are swapped around, and the volume button.

edit: here are the differences

Unfortunately the specs are not really better as I noted earlier. This is a Snapdragon 415 vs 615 though they did give it 2gb RAM vs 1.5gb.
