Was able to score one Asus pro essential with i7 5500U and 8GB Ram for just $270 on Amazon. Not sure if this one worth the price difference.

not in the market for myself but i can't even recommend this to others. lack of IPS and only 8GB DDR4 RAM for this price point is a lil disappointing.

those should be least of the worries, lack of quad core cpu. ssd makes up for low ram (easily upgradable)

Not sure it's as good a deal as this one posted yesterday. Smaller hard drive, but IPS screen and quad core CPU for less money.

U series CPU is killing me when playing. The 2 core low power i7 laptop is not a gaming laptop.

Unless you're editing video or using a RAMdisk for something, few people benefit from more than 8GB.
