The 80v battery for shovel is not compatible with the mower. Mower can only use 40v, which is shitty, making this a dirty deal.
You are an idiot.

People don't understand a great deal... With the 80v deal, you could also buy the full snow blower without battery for $150...😊

I am not going to cheer on stupidity... Part of a major reason why this country is failing...

Yep. I wonder why some posters think that their posted deal has to be liked and whoever doesn't like it, is against the world peace.
That said..op needs to bring down the needle of the dickometer a little bit.

Whatever. I needed a mower and was debating the 40v Kobalt vs. the 80v Green Works. This thread made the decision easier, because I also needed something for the snow. So thank you, OP.

Am I correct in seeing that the mower advertises a 60 minute run time on a 4AH battery and the snow blower comes with a 2AH battery, meaning at best (new, fully charged) you'll get 30 minutes run time from the mower? I've never timed myself mowing, but I'm guessing it's about that for my maybe slightly above average sized yard. Something to consider. This would suck if it died with just a little bit of your yard left every time you cut your grass. They really should make these hybrid mowers that will run off 120v with a cord. Yes, I'm sure cutting grass with a cord sucks at first, but my 90 year old neighbor has done it for years with no issues and I'm only talking about as a backup to when the battery dies just prior to finishing (or you forgot to charge and you gotta get the grass cut). Hope this deal works out for some people - battery powered mowers are definitely the future.

I had this mower for 3 months now... Cuts for about 45 min. I got it because I loved the snow blower. The beauty about 80v batteries, is that they use new technology and full charge is 30 min or less... Get a spare battery and you will never run out... Not worth getting the 4ah.

Why the negatives on this deal?
The mower is at a very low price looking at CCC.
I'm close to buying the mower have the battery from the blower I have. Just can't decide.

The battery that come with the snow shovel is 2amp good for it. If you use it with the mower the run time is considerably lower.

An average home owner would need an additional 2amp battery which costs $137.

Yes, but you can pick up another battery on Amazon Warehouse or Jet for ~$100. That makes the cost $280 (mower) plus $160 (snow shovel) plus $100 (spare battery). All in cost is $540, which is pretty close to getting the snow shovel for free.
