Thread Details

Chevrolet is offering at least 20% off all remaining 2016 Chevrolet SS sedans. Must take delivery by 7/8/2016.

The sticker on most is right at 50k, so the purchase price sits at about 39k for most before any negotiation. A simple Google search of "2016 SS 25% off" showed at least one dealer exceeding the advertised minimum and doing 25% off - bringing the sticker price to 37k!

Incredible deal if you're in the market for a rwd v8, stick or auto trans, performance sedan. The SS sedan sports a LS3, stick or auto trans, brembo brakes, and magnetic ride suspension.

Didn't link because locales will offer different inventory options.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Funny, a couple of years ago I traded my 2005 Pontiac GTO with a 400hp V8 for a Volt. Driving anything legally in the US is boring.

It's a very limited option car, so yes, "most" stickers are the exact same damn thing. Please use your brain - or at least Google - before you open your mouth.

say it ain't so! I've a 09 g8gt, but personally don't like the looks of the ss enough to pull the trigger. for those that do, this is a great deal.

which model are you referring to?

a $50k ss Chevy is not rare at all. these aren't supposed to be collectors items, you would need to spend more than that in this day and age

Man, those are ugly. But for 39k you seem to be getting a heck of a lot of car. For possibly 37k, that's even better.

I'm not trading in my gen 2 cts-v though. Smilie

I'm a huge g8 fan and was sad when they axed Pontiac. Was excited when this came out in 2014 however I wish I could buy this and not think of a Malibu everytime I saw it.
Sad 2017 is the last year of this car

Haha, I know of at least one guy selling his 14 now to get the 2016 and this has hurt his sell price for sure.

I would disagree with this. Initial purchase price doesn't necessarily qualify or disqualify a collector vehicle - or a vehicle that will appreciate in worth in time. Low mile 2009 GXPs have largely held their inital purchase price.

Agree on both. If I liked how it looked, I'd be in. But damn they left this thing bland as possible - a shame. I do think that 2016 was the last year, though, no? Holden in Aus has been shut down.

Yeah Holden said 2017 would be the final model year..... Possibly rebadged 2016's?
