You are correct and as stated in the post...."Your first Uber ride if free'.

Chase finally has a promotion and it's something I can't even use. We don't have Uber here in podunk SC. We barely have any public transportation.

Chase is so lame in their promotional offerings - almost nil/zero/big goose egg

Depends if you're in a city vs suburbs. Depends on time of day. Depends on which type of uber you choose.

Get what I'm saying? laugh out loud

Last week when uber was down I made a new account because I thought there was something wrong with my first account. So I just applied the promo code on the new account and it went through, I plan to use Uber in the next hour or so, but does any think it'll actually work? Since I have the same credit card information on an existing account.
