Thread Details

Found this deal while searching some other services from them, thought I'd share and maybe it will help someone out. I haven't gone through the motions to find out what the true savings are (like do I need to get it installed from them or can I take them Discount tires). Also a cursory search on SD shows that these kind of savings come around time to time from Firestone.
Other Sd'ers, please do share your inputs (it is always a big help when I am shopping).

Looking up the "retail" price of these tires, it doesn't seem like a deal at all. Calling the store I was told 215/50/17 which is very common size was $229-60% = regular pricing.
Tire rack also rates them pretty low. 2.5 out of 5 average. I also know from experience that they get VERY loud as they age
