You can use BlueIris if you want to do anything beyond the most basic stuff.

what's with all the amazon reviews mention specific support rep names? Never seen that before, seem suspect.

i have a few of these units along with foscam as well. i use tinycam pro and it is awesome. i think i bought mine on a SD during xmas time with Home Depot. I have never had to reset a camera yet and I run a few on wired and a few on wireless.

I too now have two of these on the exterior of my house. I have replaced my old Deticam H502w 720p cameras with these and they work great. Dericams required daily resetting...these just work. Two-way audio works as well if you lower the speaker volume on the camera. I'm thinking about ordering a 3rd.

Thanks, I missed the Amazon Prime Day and found one for $84 on Newegg that's arriving Friday. Picked this one up from Groupon just now for my second camera.

I got 3 of these on Amazon prime day. Difficult to configure at least for me with a ATT router. Had to call tech support 4x but I think all is good now. Had to use a static IP address. Tech support guys must get paid for positive feedback. They copy and paste the amazon feedback link for you after they help you to configure cam. They then ask you to input feedback and wait for you to do so. I told them after the 2nd time I would leave honest feedback once I saw the cameras working for a period of time. Cameras are good but I honestly can't see any difference from 1080p to 640vga display even on zoom on app or computer. Picture is stellar day or night, wide range of view with pan tilt. Probably going to order another 1. They are rated the best that's why I bought.

I'm having trouble connecting as well.. Thought it was defective as I got from AWD. Will probably return it any way.. Too problematic to setup the connection.

Does amazon PM groupon?

Routers make a huge difference. MIMO/number of antennas matter. # of wireless cameras on the network matter. # of wireless anything on the router make a difference.

Stock verizon router with 5 wireless cameras, tablets, laptops, etc...lots of problems. Switched to an Asus RT-AC68U...no problems at all even with dynamic IP. Cameras have been up for almost a year with tiny cam pro and both amcrest and foscam software and not one has had to be reset.

Obviously YMMV, but sometimes it's not the camera...it's the network/equipment you use.

also, there is significant difference between a 640 output when looking at 1080p...might be time to get new eyes or a new monitor :-)
