Holy hell. What a useless rant.
- Deal is clearly not for people that already own a gaming pc. So why cry? As VR grows in popularity, so does the frequency of people buying more powerful PCs that have not in the past.
- Does it matter if SD gets a commission? It is still cheaper than someone could do themselves and don't have to deal with annoying rebates or BS. And has warranty.

This is actually a good deal. You can't put it together yourself cheaper. Maybe if you skip the keyboard and mouse if you already have those.

Not a bad deal at all.

How does this build compare to the other Cyberpower deal? Obviously larger, but in terms of performance?

Slightly better performance as even stock 6700K (4GHz Stock)runs at higher clock speed than i7-6700 (3.4GHz Stock) but way better in overclocking. Thanks to its bigger size, it can accommodate 120mm Liquid CPU Coolers and it already has one. I have the same cooler with two 120mm Fan in Push-Pull configuration and my 5820K is overclocked to 4.2GHz Stable all the time.

Also with this deal, you are going to get a lot of quality free goodies, specially the Razer Black Widow Mechanical Keyboard.

Actually people are confusing about these builds all together causing lots of heated discussion in the threads. So other deal, CyberpowerPC Syber Vapor is basically a design like a Console which people can just place in their living room, under their 50" TV and enjoy hardcore gaming like a console, without taking a lot of place or having a separate space for keeping a Desktop PC.
This one is on the other hand has slightly bigger form factor and basically a small form factor Mini Tower build.

The 50$ ssd promo applies to the other deal too so it is 50$ cheaper, but it's today today (ends in a couple hours). Having said that, I ordered this one, and also went for the gigabyte mobo which supports usb c, and the thermal paste plus the corsair af120 fan on the cooler just in case since this case is also very small

Fight back brother! I love assembling computers but I understand it's not for everyone. Most if not all of this suggestions were nonsense and not realistic.

Well the cost for this in general:

Mitx case would go for about 70 bucks
16 gb ram 70 bucks
600 watt psu 70 bucks
mitx board z170 130 bucks
1070 card 390 bucks
480 gb ssd 90 bucks
win home 90 bucks
Cheap liquid cooling 50 bucks
i7-6700k = 300 bucks

About 1260 give or take a little bit.

Now throw in the blackwidow mech keyboard,
Makes this deal slick.

The only advantage of building this on your own would be getting it faster. However 2-3 hours of build time and no mechanical keyboard.

Prob could hock that keyboard for 60 bucks on craigslist really quickly.

I would consider upgrading that cooling though.
