SSD is solid-state drive or solid-state disk and the newer laptops have SSDs instead of regular hard disk and are costlier but are efficient and this is a good deal since this 128 GB SSD can act as a moving hard drive of your computer in your pocket.

Rather I would buy

TP-LINK AC1900 Wireless Wi-Fi Dual Band AC Router (Archer C9)

for $109 with better review

this is probably the worst router I've owned. every other day or so I have to reset it because it suddenly limits speed down to 2 mbps. search the linksys forums and you will find plenty of people with the same problem and linksys has done nothing to fix it.

Got it for $180 at Costco. I don't really need the SSD and buy from Dell once every 3 years (the promo card would not be all that useful).

Wonder if I should get OPs deal instead for its value... errr but Costco has better return policy

So what's the difference between a Flash drive and this "portable SSD".

It sort of looks like the read/write speeds on this are much closer to an actual SSD than most USB flash drives. I'm still looking for actual testing that shows real world speed. This seems like a good deal, but definitely not a "don't think, just buy" kind of deal.

Is this worth $30? I have a $100gc to burn, and the $130 spend will come with a new $100 for next deal... How does this compare to my Asus ac1900? I only need it to run in AP mode.
