That is the Promo Code mentioned for this item. There appears to be an issue with it. I recommend trying again a little later on.

Just a heads-up : The 250 GB Cloud Storage is valid only for one month according to the reviews.

IMO True Image is trash. I have 2013 and 2015 that came with my hard drives... both failed to clone an OS partition to my new drive from the old one.

Ran Paragon Rescue Kit (manually backing up then restoring onto new drive) worked perfectly. It does take a little longer because it backs up and compresses the image but now I have a backup if my OS SSD ever craps out, replace and restore onto new drive.

PRK is freeware https://www.paragon-software.com/home/rk-free/. Between PRK whole image backup features and Windows Backup, I wouldn't even consider True Image especially when the only real thing I wanted out of it was cloning.

Back roughly in the 2006-2007 time frame, Acronis was the best rated desktop backup product on the market. Then it appears some changes occurred and their product became total garbage imo due to bad QC. I remember at one point trying to install it on a new Win 7 machine I had purchased it for at my job and the setup failing repeatedly. I was exchanging support emails with their staff in Russia for days trying to get it resolved (which they did eventually do). However the ratings for it plummeted afterwards as apparently it was not an isolate case of bad quality control lol.

I ended up switching my team to Shadow Protect by Storage Craft shortly afterwards. By far the best backup program around imo but it is not cheap and can run $80+ a seat for the desktop. Supposedly Acronis has cleaned up its act to a certain degree at least, but at this point, you basically do get what you pay for imo.

As to the freeware, fine for what it is worth, but I am old school and would never recommend a free product like that for a company I worked for to backup its critical data on the desktop, so I am certainly not going to do it for my personal stuff (yes my data is more important to me than my employer's was lol).

Some said: 'Cons: 250 gb not avalible. Get unlimited cloud storage for 30 day. Very slow uploading to the cloud.' on Acronis True Image 2015 w/ 250 GB Cloud Storage
I'll just pass.

If you are going to get Acronis, buy the 2014 version. 2015 and 2016 are total crap. They have fewer features than 2014.

Not worth the rebate hassle for this pos. Macrium Reflect has been working great for me, even though it cost a little bit.
