  • New Features include: Amazing 325-foot wireless range. Larger Backlit Screen Shows more information (you can now see the Custom set alert Temperature at all times) , 2 Hybrid Probes are included, Easier controls and 15 New Preset Temperatures of types of meat to choose from
  • Monitor internal temperature of meat from 300 feet away; wireless receiver with LCD beeps and flashes when meat temperature goes above your programmed temperature
  • Wireless receive will beep a Loss of signal alert if you go out of range for more than a minute
  • Probe wires are 3 feet long and are rated for 716°F; Operated on 4 AAA Batteries NOT Included

had two previous Maverick versions.
bbq sensor always burnt out.
glad to see these are now rated higher to >700 degrees.
If This one burns out Im going splurge on higher end device.

There are only 2 probe connections. You will need 2 in order to monitor more than 2 probes.

So this has the one part that is in the meat itself and then one part that you keep with you so you can monitor temp, correct?

In the market for one. But I'm not sure the Amazon reviews give me the peace of mind to buy it.. they seem rather critical
