Advertised in their July 10th flyer and valid until August 6th. I went to a Gander BM the first weekend of the sale and they were out of stock and the sales rep tried to order but said it was out of stock company wide.

I happen to have the tab open last night and saw that they are now available online but shipping is $25 to an FFL or even to a Gander BM so I drove over to the store to have them order one for me and save the shipping fee. I asked to have one ordered and the sales rep told me they actually had stock. The two reps there were surprised to hear it was available online.

Takedown was easy, cleaned it, and ready for some range time.

The online stock checker was not accurate as they did not show the local store having stock.

Great price for a summer carry gun to compliment my Shield.

I have a large hand, so the pinky extender on the magazine and the Hogue grip mod really help keep this thing from slipping away. The Hogue grip is easy- push out one pin and remove the small plastic piece behind the magazine, install the grip and a new, longer pin.

Great carry pistol. I bring it everywhere.

Pretty common price. I would skip the reg lcp and go with the lcp custom with the raised and vastly improved sights (FO front), skelly trigger, and upgraded guide rod. Like the other poster said, its a diff of like 20 bucks. (230 FS at Spotsman, didnt look at any other sites http://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/products2.cfm/ID/152046/3740/ruger-lcp-custom-380-auto-pistol )

its around 220 for the red custom trigger from kentuckygunco. I heard it was a big improvment to the regular trigger

Yes, the red trigger is definately worth the extra $10 - $20 (whoever you're buying it from). This price is pretty common, especially when I've seen the red trigger for the same price at gun shows.

Yes, that Hogue grip makes all the difference. Easier to grip, soaks up recoil, fits in all pocket holsters.

380......no thanks. I'm not huge on 9mm but at least it has more stopping power than a 380. Great brand if a 380 is your cup of tea.
No handgun round has "stopping power". With modern ammo the difference between 9mm and 45 is minimal. You apparently are one of those people that continue to propagate this nonsense. STOP. 380 is essentially a 9mm with a little less weight, and a great round for self defense if you need an extremely compact firearm.

It's a generic common term that most people understand. It typically has less weight and less powder. I made my own suppressor and I load my own ammo, I actually know what I'm talking about. 115gr 9mm vs the typical 230gr 45......sure, if you say so. Look at the exit channel on a 45 vs a 9 and tell me there isn't more "stopping power".

Sold my LCP with laser for $200. Was glad to get rid of it. I disliked the way it shot. I'll take my Glock 26 or M & P shield any day over this. Seriously pass on this gun.

You've reloaded your own ammo?! My apologies! I didn't realize that was the credentials needed to be and expert. The ballistics don't support you. I know you found directions on line and built your own suppressor, but that doesn't change the truth about hangun rounds. I'm strictly talking ballistics, I won't even get into faster follow up, more capacity, and cost. People that dismiss calibers because its not a 45 or it doesn't have as much "stopping power" are spreading myths and preventing others from finding the perfect round for themselves because they listen to the nonsense. If you want stopping power buy a long gun. If you want a good self defense handgun find the one you are most comfortable with and buy a reputable/quality personal defense round for it. Last step is to practice. Hype is a waste of time.

Some peeps can chill out. Buy what you like, let others do the same, and no need to banish anyone from chat.

.45 is great if you hit your target quickly, 9mm for more rounds, and .380 for concealability. Why does everyone act like it all has to be black and white? 9mm or .40 are usually the best of both worlds, but YMMV.

$25 shipping kills the deal IMO. Bass pro sells the gun for $230 normal price and you dont have to deal with FFL
