Plus or no Plus, these two new G4 phones have really crappy cameras.

(but I'm biased because I took side-by-side comparison photos to compare
with my Note 5, LG G4, and iPhone 6s Plus)

then again, the G4 Plus is a $200 phone, so it's wasn't a fair comparison.

on second thought... not really... because my Note 5 was $349 final cost
and LG G4 was free, both thanks to last year's Verizon DPP promos.

So is this phone better/equal to/or worse than the Best Buy 250 32Gb Moto X Pure from earlier in the week bought it and just got activated on Cricket. Seems ok but not a phone expert for sure was using a cheap nokia Lumia 635 windows phone until now so no real experience with Android of course.

How it would be used mostly for phone and some tethering. Camera not a big deal take occasional pictures with phone. Not much of an app guy but then again windows did not offer much for apps. Since I live in the country the tethering and using it to surf the web is the biggest deal and so maybe the 5.7 screen be better for me not sure.

thanks for any input

That's what I'd get but you have to decide if it is worth the extra $50. Looks like this phone supports SD card so I'd imagine you can store photos on the SD card?

True about storage but I have to imagine the extra 2GB of RAM is really where this model shines.
