Just a heads-up... Weber will be reducing it's MAP pricing on Genesis Grills beginning August 1st 2016, and continuing on until the end of the year.

I can't speak for all retailers, but I know the vast majority of Ace stores will immediately lower the retail price to match MAP (ie: $100 off all Genesis grills). I can only assume other dealers will do the same.

Attached is the document sent out to Ace stores.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Hmm, I wonder what will be different on the 2017 models. Are they going to jump on the Infrared burner bandwagon or something else, perhaps? I own both the Side Mounted Control E-310 and Front Mounted E-330 Genesis Grills, so as a Weber fan, this intrigues me. I guess I should have held off from buying the Weber Performer Gold Charcoal grill 1/2 off on clearance at Walmart yesterday. And with 2 Weber Q's,(2200-1200), I think I have a problem. Oh wait, nevermind, we're SD'ers. Most of us do have addictions to deals and great products.

EDIT: Fixed model number from E-320 to E-330.

1/2 off the performer gold? That's the 26.5" right? Clearance price?

If I needed one...I would definitely get another Weber.

I bought a USED Weber Genesis B....about 10 years ago.

Use it at least twice a week...even in winter.
The only part I have needed to replace so far....is the thermometer.

Outstanding quality.

I have a 2015 Genesis E-330 and love it (use it several times a week). But I do wonder what 2017 will hold, as well.

I am still loving my Genesis S-310 I got from the Home Depot clearance deal in 2011 for $199. That was epic!

It is the 22.5" model. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Weber-2...k/21928089

It was $154, on Clearance. Turns out, the boxed units had sold out at that price and only the display/floor model was remaining at Walmart, so it has seen some abuse, rusting! (believe it or not) and scratches, but I called Weber last night and they seemed interested in helping me with some replacement parts. They just asked that I send some pictures to them. Fingers crossed that they will come through like they did when my Front Mounted Genesis E-330 arrived partially destroyed by the shipping company. They basically send me a whole new grill part by part, cook-box, lid, side tables and parts for the cart. It was amazing customer service.

My Genesis E-330 ended up being only $350 after I contacted the seller to complain about the condition upon arrival.

I think Weber is feeling the "heat" from the disposable grill market.

They are still trying to sell a $700-$1k grill that can last 10 yrs (or more, but it still gets to be dingy and disgusting)

When target, home depot and lowes are selling charbroils and other new name brands that look just as nice and cook just as well, but maybe only last 3-4 years. But they cost $200-$300! So you can buy a new grill every few years, have the latest and greatest functions, have it look new every time you buy it and still spend less.

I had a weber, used it for 10 yrs...even managed to sell it and make some money. However, it appeared dingy and was peeling in the inside. Sure it still cooked. I got a friggin 4 burner charbroil for $99 (slickdeal) and i see brand new awesome looking units at home depot for $300...

it just doesnt make sense to buy a high end grill when they've become disposable and you can have a nice shiny new one for less money (all things equal) every few years.

..PS: dont give me any bullshit about your weber grill makes your food taste better or cooks better. they all use the same process - flame under grates. if you think your weber makes your food taste better or cooks better than some other grill, then you have what is known as the placebo effect (or maybe it is marketing effect?)

Hmmm I pointed to a tiny dent on the back of the grill and lowes took 25% of my genesis. I don't think they realized I was getting a Weber. The employee just called a manager on the phone told him about the dent and they said just give him 25% off. I then stacked my fathers 10% military discount off on top of that. So LPT: look for any imperfection and ask for a discount.

if lowes does this and you can stack 10% coupon, that would be a real SD!

Great deal if you're looking to get a Weber. I got this same model but in the green color and it looks really nice. I love how it doesn't look like every other grill out there and it feels really sturdy.

I wish i was still in the time window for a Discover price protection claim, got mine in February. So just a heads up if you need one now and will be paying for it with Discover...You can always buy from a site with no tax and free shipping and then do the price protection within 90 days of purchase.
