Do your beaches have trees?
I love hammock, I would say this is not that great a deal. First off is the size its not very standard. Second its a bunched end hammock which is common. But you would still need straps to hang them on a tree. Many of you are thinking I'll just get walmart rope and make a mess. But straps are the best investment ever. They make setting up a hammock a less than 2-3 minute affair. Last month they had the double chillax one at Costco with straps for $23 dollars. That was a decent deal. I've used it. It will probably go on clearance sooner or later as well. Even at 30 its a decent deals because it has ropes that are a semi smart adjustable strap system.

If you're willing to splurge grand trunk is my favorite brand. Tore a hammock sent them a picture they mailed me a replacement. They're that awesome. I use their straps too. I have a rope and a belt type one both work amazingly well.
for $9 you are the review. buy one and tell me how it is.

The one in the picture is wider than 3' with those 2 people in it. either bad description or bad picture.

I bit. Would have preferred the larger size, but this would be good for the next backpacking trip.

I also got one. I am a big guy and also wish it were a bit wider. I like how they had it all packed into one bag that stays with the parachute though. These aren't as nice as my Brazillian hammocks, but they are a good value. I put this one permanently in my screened in-porch and the nice thing is I don't really care if the kids are hard on it.

I just took the ropes it came with and it stretched across my porch. But I did also take a ski rope I had lying around, cut it in two, and sort of braided them together, just to be extra safe. It was kind of squirrly before I did that! But for lightweights, I bet they can just use what it came with. Although, I didn't have to go around a tree, just 2x4 wood.

I have this cheap one from grand trunk and couldn't be happier. I use ratchet straps to attach to trees because I'm cheap.
