Do you research before buying this, there is an issue called "yellow ring of death" that has not been addressed (no reasonable fix) by Dell / Alienware;

1 page of results, not a widespread issue...

Its an ok deal. No windows included and I'm suprised that these don't have 3.5mm or mic. jacks. I know these were meant to be connected to a TV but for the price you would think they would cover all bases.

That's a shite graphics card. You can barely play new demanding games like the Witcher in low with 60fps.

I was debating to purchase a Shield TV w/ 500 on Prime Day for $250 to use with Kodi and decided to hold off. Maybe this would be a more attractive option and assuming this is 4K Output? Kodi and Steam games seems tempting now hmmm...opinions?

yeah, seems that way. An $80 R7 360 scores better than this thing.

Do you not know what a Steam Box is, or do you know but just enjoy trolling? My iPad and my Chromebook didn't come with Windows either. Yes, I have about a dozen Windows computers in my house too (don't ask..)

Yes, if you want an i5 Windows computer, sure, you can find 'em for $400. Maybe not with the same gaming features, but same CPU and 8G, and you'd even have Windows, which apparently is very important to you! They probably even have those little tiny jacks for your 1993 headset.

it's still just a $400 box that doesn't do anything but play games through steam...and with that GPU, apparently not that well. if it had the performance of the new gen low end cards, that would be awesome. as is...I dont get it.
