Are you kidding me, you are comparing a hyndai system to a mercedes. Inspiron is dirt cheap built compare to this full blown i7-6560U SSD IdeaPad. Try calling Dell support and you'll get some india folks ask you to repeat yourself like 20x.

Pretty good deal considering the Iris 540 graphics. Does anyone know if the RAM is upgradable? That's my biggest beef with the XPS 13, that and you can't seem to configure the XPS 13 with an i7 that comes with Iris 540 graphics and the regular 1080p screen which I prefer (you have to get it with a 4K screen).

I'm in exactly the same boat; i want an xps13 with a 1080 screen, but also want 16GB ram and an i7 (the 540 is signifigantly better than the 520, otherwise i wouldn't care). Both of these options are tied together with the 4k screen, which is something i don't want.</p>

The memory is not upgradable and soldered into motherboard. It has dual channel configuration (4GB X 2). But the SSD is user replacable.

I wanted to buy this laptop but I can't cause only PayPal is accepted. Adorama does not accept any other form of payment like MC, VISA, Amexco or Discover. This policy is horrible.
I do not like PayPal and never want to deal with them because of this company's policies.
I did have a PayPal account till recently and it was in excellent shape. But I closed it when PayPal started to push their policies when they started acting up like bullies, read here:

I like and support proper and logical free choice and not sick ones. We live in a free country
I disagree with PayPal's CEO Dan Schulman decision.
Adorama just lost a sale.
Adorama should change their unfriendly payment policy ASAP.

Looks nice, bezel is thicker than xps 13 though on the top side for the camera. What's wrong with PayPal?? Any problems with sellers and they give you your money back.

I was going to buy this but started reading some reviews. For the specs and portability, I find it to be a good deal. However, a lot of customers appear to deal with an issue when the laptop is in sleep mode. That just seemed too annoying to deal with and, unfortunately, am passing on this. This is exactly what I was looking for.
