Not sold out for me. I grabbed one, been needing a quality comforter for a while. Use code EXPLORE instead. I got it for $128.09 after tax and with free Shoprunner shipping.

Even after all the discounts, this is still more expensive than many real down comforters on Amazon that have great reviews. Is there anything special about this or is it just an inflated MSRP?

hope others can comment as well. bought one from EB anyway and they wont cancel...

If you want to use it in a duvet cover, the dimensions of the full/queen size seem odd. Most full/queen duvets are 88" to 92" inches square. This one is 88" x 98".

I cannot really comment on the quality of the comforter you linked, but the two terrible marketing gimmick suggest it is of questionable quality. First, 1200 TC, really?! I hate this particular marketing ploy. There is really no way they get 1200 thread count with any good reasonable fiber, and you would not need more than 300-400 tc anyway. Second, what is Siberian Goose Down?! (see http://www.downmark.ca/consumer_i...uality.htm) That down is of questionable quality, and probably very inferior to european white goose down.

The Eddie Bauer item generally has a higher premium price (since you're paying for marketing and branding), but it's a reputable outfit, so the chance of getting a quality item is higher. I personally would buy the Eddie Bauer comforter over the unknown Chinese comforter at Amazon.

Thanks. Go through a portal (Active) .... J U N K Y and you get another 5% back.

If you want my referral, let me know and I can PM you.

I'm not posting it here as I think that's against Terms and Conditions.

I got 10% back on a 400 purchase made via that portal so I trust them.

you can check the list from cash back holic or cash back monitor

Agreed. You'll also end up with feathers everywhere too with some of the cheap, no name stuff even with a cover

You can't go by just the numbers on things like these comforters. I've had a number of down comforters over the years, and the EB ones are by far the best I've had. You won't be sorry when it shows up and you try it out.
