retailers have contracts with manufacturers, saying they must advertise their products above a certain price. it is the only way the manufacturer will let the retailer call themselves an "authorized seller" then, and therefore the manufacturer warranty is valid. these "authorized sellers" found a loophole and list these tv's below the contract price on ebay, since this doesn't violate their contract, and warranty still remains intact.
You can quote me disagreeing with you. Not gonna happen. Even if it does who in their right mind wants to be at a brick and mortar store on black Friday at 200am the night before to get a ticket for the whole 3 of them they would have in Stock as bait just to get people in the store.

why do these ebay deals have the low price here but not their actual website? I'm iffy buying a $2.3k TV on ebay and have only 30 days for returns if anything goes wrong.

No difference. They are very legit and easy to deal with

$2200 for the same here, seller has 100% positive feedback, and 30 day return window but with restocking fee. Only a few left. http://bit.ly/2abNaYZ

I don't know if this is a good price or not but I would still be very happy owning such a big 4K TV!

I am so tempted to buy this TV but iffy since it is on ebay and not from any recognized dealer. Not sure how the warranty part is on this deal.

ask I'd bestbuy will price match, since that's their statement. I would feel more comfy with bestbuy, where I can see the product before buying

The refresh is just too slow. If it was 120 I would have likely jumped on this. I'm eyeing the P-series Vizio for ~$2000 right now especially since it has Dolby Vision HDr and HDR100 just rolled out via firmware.
