Lol @ the people who prefer new consumer drives over slightly used enterprise drives. There is a reason why consumer drives come with a 2 year warranty and no MTBF rating and enterprise drives have a 5 year warranty and usually a 2 million hour MTBF rating...

I contacted CSR and was told they submitted a ticket to internal and will notify me in 3-5 days and could not do anything else.

EDIT:
Looks like they fixed the price to 29.99, bought 5!

All people saying its heavy used refurb bla bla need to remember these are not your consumer level HDD. These are enterprise drives with a 2 million MTBF rating, soon as you receive them run SMART check, long and short tests and if any issues replace them within your 30 day window and they should outlast most retail drives. The 7k3000 series drives are not the same as the other Hitachi 2tb $30 drives on sale, these are better. And no these are not the "DeathStars" from 10+ years ago under IBM ownership.

I thought the $30 one was for this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Pro...6134-S1A5A.

Aren't they different products?

Edit: Two different products/ads. Seems like a misprint somewhere on Newegg's part.

Really cheap drive for all your games provided you keep your save files on a different drive just in case the drive fails. I back up all my game files weekly on a flash drive.

Very bad reviews and you might loose your data if you store it in this one. Lots and Lots of Bad Sectors.

Regularly $29-$40 on eBay from many sellers who are upgrading their servers or bought out some company's old server hardware.

Bought two from eBay a week or two ago, only installed one and already used 1.2tb of data just from shadowplay. I hope there's a sale for them @20, I'd pick up 5-10 of them.
