I got one. Very budget display. Not a slim model with fairly large bezel.

Does 4K @ 60hz 4:4:4 by HDMI 2.0. However it is not a good monitor. The panel is obviously cheap and mine has a number of lighting irregularities. Also poor viewing angles close up since the front screen of the panel is far from the actual LCD.

So. It's cheap and can be a monitor. Although not a great one.

Been researching a 4k hdr tv to pair with my xb1 s for days. This was the first tv that got me excited until it didn't check out.

It has a 8 color bit panel so even though it is hdr10 capable it does nothing. It is pointless for have hdr10 unless you have a 10-12 color bit panel.

This TV also has 39ms in game mode so its not good and not bad for gaming.

Watch out! This is not a real 4K! It's a RGBW panel. Go check the rting's review on this model.

My Old LG started to turned on and off by itself yesterday, check the net and says LG has this problem with the capacitors and such.

I wonder if this is a good deal to replace the old one. Or is there any other deal out there in the $400< range on 42-45 inch TV.

This explains why it does not work well as a monitor. Text looks odd. Not sharp at 4K. For comparison I have a 55UB9500 and it's much better as a monitor.

Taking it back

Besides the "4K" panel. It has horrible black level.

I would buy the Hisense 43 for around the same price at bestbuy. At least that one is a real 4K and should be able to do 4:4:4. It has 4 year warranty. Good reviews on Amazon too.

FWIW: Not an online-only deal. Saw the same deal at my local Costco today.

The Vizio is cheaper at Dell with the 10% off Code SAVEON4K

Total would be $360 before taxes.

target has the vizio (43" or 40"?) for $400 regular price without the 5% red card discount.
walmart has the 43" sharp for $400 regular price, the sharp is pretty, and has a thin bezel.
