The trimmer is split shaft but does not accept attachments. The split shaft is for storage ease only. Greenworks does offer a higher priced version that accepts attachments, and looks similar to this one.

The CORE gasless series on Woot.com [woot.com] (available through August 8 while supplies last) may be a better deal on similar cordless outdoor power products. The key differences between the CORE units and this one are that the CORE power head takes multiple attachments, each featuring its own CORE motor.

So the mower is $243 but if you actually plan to run it than it is $549?
Just making sure I am looking at this right.

GreenWorks products all use interchangeable batteries within the same voltage. So all 80v equipment can be used with 1 battery. So yes you are correct in your math but if you have already purchased a Greenworks product in the past or if you buy one of these other items on the deal of the day, you will already have a battery and charger to use with the lawnmower. Or if you buy the lawnmower and battery/charger you can buy the other equipment without batteries and use the lawnmower battery for all of them.
You can buy the lawnmower, and then buy either the string trimmer or leaf blower on this deal, which come with battery and charger, for around $400-425.

Wrong... SMH... Get the mower and the blower that includes the battery and charger... Now you got 2 tools and battery, charger for0 around $400.

You would need a battery and charger. You could buy one of the other tools in this deal that includes the battery and charger and then buy the mower for far less than $549.

I just bought a 40V GreenWorks string trimmer and used it for the first time last night. I was impressed with the power and it more than meets my needs. I used it for about 30-45 minutes just to trim around the house and driveway, etc.

All of the tools in this deal are 80v. The battery that comes with the blower and trimmer in this deal is an 80v battery, and it will work on the lawnmower in this deal. However, Greenworks also makes 40v of all of these tools. The 40v battery wont work in the 80v tools, and the 80v battery wont work in the 40v tools.

I haven't read reviews for the snapper but that does seem like a good deal. Maybe you should post it. Been debating on which model to get. Leaning toward the greenworks 40v twin next time it's on sale.

It was a walmart deal already posted. I went to walmart showed the brickseek price of 240 and the manager accepted it.

The Snapper 60V stuff looks suspiciously like Greenworks 80V stuff. This article states that Greenworks makes at least the motors/batteries for them, but the whole mower looks identical.
