What, exactly, does "activation" mean?

Can I buy the phone, activate it on my ATT account to replace my Nexus 5X, collect my $200 gift card, then take the sim out and put it back into my Nexus5X, then sell the GS7?

Does anyone know? Thanks.

How much is it before the $200 gift card? The $844 is for the unlocked version.

I am amazed as how Samsung and apple have managed to raise prices on their phones over the years. If I am not wrong the first iphone was 499. Now they start at 799-899. All this when technology is getting cheaper.

Pretty sure the original iphone was only available with an 2 year AT&T contract. $499 (for the 4GB version) seems pretty expensive in that case.

well, preordered two S7 Edge's and 2 Note 7's last night along with a watch. The two S7 Edge's and watch have already shipped! Expected date on the Note 7's is 8/17...

your argument is flawed. the original iphone was only available at att AND with a two year contract for those prices. not comparing apples to apples here..\

obviously, you did not observe cost of goods has rised. for example years ago 1 dollar get you 4 apples, try to buy 4 apples today with 1 dollar

Yet my Axon 7 with Galaxy S7 specs cost me $399 free shipping no tax from Newegg and came with some pretty bad ass headphones. People who throw money in the garbage are so stupid.
