noticed from evga email blast. A nice deal for quality mitx mobo as Amazon and newegg has it for 179.

I am building a mitx case recently. 750D too big for my new small apt. I eyed on this mobo and also evga hadron air case which include 500w power supply. From my research the board is quite nice, has all features I need. cons might be only 2 mem dimm slot(but dual channel), 4 phase not for crazy oc, and one sata port too close to pcie slot(which is common problem for mitx mobo). all in all i think for 120 this mitx mobo cannot be wrong.

asrock is also solid. I owned fatal1ty z97 atx mobo a while ago and it worked great. it depends on your own need and preference.

first build, not techy at all. just wanna have fun with it but been indecisive about my CPU/mobo. I do know I want to do an m-itx. haha as I already bought a case an that's bout it (corsair 380t on SD). if anything video editing is the beacon for this machine. but don't need to be too crazy with it.

Then just go with evga - better quality, brand and service. should serve your needs well. Heard (not 100% sure) asrock is rebrand of asus lower end products - a great bang for money if on tight budget but maybe not best option if you really want quality inside.

Yeah, that's the one thing that keeps me looking elsewhere. The Fatal1ty board is $144 plus $20, making it $124 (if one doesn't mind that). Might just jump on that one from newegg. Tired of waiting...

Edit: correction, $144.99 before $20 rebate. $124.99 after plus s/h $2.99. Dunno bout taxes stuff. Debating...

Evga screwed up with this board . I read somewhere that one of the main reasons why this board is / was $150+ was because it's a 10 layer pcb which adds to the cost significantly . This supposedly helps with overclocking so they basically wanted to build an Mitx overclocking powerhouse but they had to cut down on other much more important features IMO like wifi, sound chipset,m.2 ,usb 3.1 etc. at least the Maximus impact is also feature packed unlike this board.(it also costs $200+). So unless overclocking is the most important thing to you then I would look elsewhere .
