Wal-mart received shipment of vanguard weatherby 2 deluxe sportsman 308 rifles for 649. Other stores have it from 850 to 900 From the "AA" grade claro walnut stock to the high-luster blued finish, there's little doubt that the Vanguard 2 DLX Rifle is a real beauty. But, as is so often the case, the beauty here goes beyond skin-deep. That's because the Deluxe offers Weatherby's SUB-MOA Guaranteed Accuracy... guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99" or less at 100 yards when used with specified ammunition! Premium looks, premium quality, premium accuracy -- it's no wonder Weatherby shooters are among the most devoted fans in the world.

If the OP can provide us with the Walmart item ID for this firearm, you should be able to eg. check here [brickseek.com]

OP, you may want to prefix your title with GUN (edit -> go advanced) so people not familiar with the Weatherby brand know what it is.

Some people also set up alerts for the word GUN, to keep an eye out for SD's on firearms.
I think it's pretty much SOP to put GUN in the thread title for firearms for this and other various reasons.

Nice rifle and nice price. .308 is a such a great deer round too. But I would be afraid to hunt with it. I have an old A bolt medallion and I'm too much of a klutz to own such a nice rifle. basic blued steel and synthetic stock is better for me. I can find every rock and limb every time. Some people can carry a rifle for 20 years and never scratch it I can't make it through one season without getting nick or scratch on a wooden stock or barrel.

I can buy a new Winchester Model 70 or a Tika T3 for that. Also, guaranteed 1 MOA in a bolt gun? They'll have to do better than that if they want my money.

The entire rifle is manufactured by Howa with possible exception of the stock, but I'd bet that is Howa as well.
