I was browsing Google express to do some shopping yesterday (got a $15 off $15) and noticed a small message on the top of the webpage which mentioned that I can shop at Costco without Costco membership by paying 15% access fee.
This may not really be a deal but I don't have costco near to my home and only stuff I get from Costco whenever my friend (with membership) visits there, is dryfruits. So this is a good deal for me.
Just wanted to let others know. As per google express facebook page, the feature is not rolled out to everyone yet. Screenshot below when I added 2 quantity of Kirkland almonds to my cart. It mentions above that 15% fee will be included.

PS: Apologies if this triggered your google express alert expecting that $15 coupon was there again.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Good to know. If I run out of Kirkland Peanuts before I renew my Costco membership, (My membership expired Jan 31, 2016. I STOCKED UP on Kirkland peanuts (40 oz. can ~~$6.88) I buy the Costco membership to get the peanuts, and the Fruitcakes~~$14.99 which are baked in store in ~late October.., The plan is to buy a new membership ~November 1, 2016 which will give me access to the 2016 AND THE 2017 Fruitcake season at Costco, since my membership will not expire until Nov 30. 2017 and 2 black Friday sales, etc. OR, I will buy a new membership whenever I get a DEAL I CAN'T REFUSE for a new Costco Membership.

Just give a member some cash to buy a gift card. Get in to Costco and use it with no fee. No membership needed, either.

Note, they usually do have to call a manager in to enter a few digits before checking out.

Interesting and good to know! It says a 5% surcharge over the members posted products though?

Or for anyone who wnats a real Costco hack - all you have to do is have a member buy you a $5 member gift card and you can gain entry with just that. If your bill comes out to $100 you can pay the difference with a visa or cash Smilie

Just get as many $5 gift cards as you can because they're essentially equivalent to non-member access

You can shop on their website for free with an expired membership, btw.

Fee used to be lower, like 7% or something. Went up a lot.

I just read that
1- You cannot use credit card at Costco , only cash , debit w/pin , Amex.
2- They changed their policy , that you have to be a member to use gift card.
3- Customers get refused at checkout in store.
Is this true ??

I get that same message about the 15% surcharge, but during the checkout it won't let the order through without a membership no. attached to the account.
