I don't have a lot of headphones to reference against these. With that said, these sound fantastic, and are by far the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.

They are over ear, open headphones, so noise of course leaks out. I did not like the long (obnoxiously), thin cable these came with, and replaced it with a wireworld cable to try to get the most out of these.

I listen to metal primarily, and use these almost exclusively with my phone. I did get even better sound when hooked up through an amp, but I have zero complaints on their own, even without the amp/cable upgrade.

I am guessing there is a significant difference between this and Fidelio X2

Should be better. I use these over my sennheiser hd555. These have a little more bass and I replaced the cable with a shorter one so easier for my uses, and a little more comfortable. That being said I love both this pair and the hd555 but for the price this one wins
