Good to know. I've never used these before. I wonder if that means they limit you on quantity then.

Strange that they want your SS# when they say that there isn't a credit check.

Fee schedule:

Note the $3 a month charge just for having the personalized card. The "Temporary card" you can buy instore costs $3 to purchase then you can put money on but it is limited access. See more here on how a temporary card can convert to a Personalized one:

It's not about the credit check, it's about money regulations (i believe specifically "know your customer" regulations)

Hmmm... does that mean this is a $600+ reward / 1099 form thing?

So this is a one time only deal then? I can't walk into the store and fill up a shopping cart of $20 cards for $10 each?

Ok. I'm having trouble figuring out this deal. Buy $10 card on line. Then there are monthly fees and fees to load the card?

$3 monthly fee. Every time you reload, they take $3. Lots of work for 7 bucks.

I agree. Even more work if they end up charging 2 months by the time the bonus comes through to make $4.

I was excited about this, but I am not getting $10 in exchange to give Kroger my SSN.
