I've been interested in getting a .300 Blackout. Price seems good. I wonder how the quality is.

I have no experience with this brand but Primary Arms carries a lot of their products and that's a good indication...

I can't speak for the .300 blackout, but for the 5.56 variant, I have been pleasantly surprised. You get a lot for your money with these rifles. I've owned my since the last sale and have had nothing but smooth shooting. I'd say get yours while they are inexpensive.

I have a RA 300 blk upper (looks like the same one here). it shot very well with a wide range of ammo. only thing I don't like is the circular hand guard. feels a tad cheap, and has a bit of a twang sound to it

It isn't bad. It is entry level. You will still have small issues like feeding from time to time. Overall, it isn't bad. They reversed engineered the original, but it is still ok.

I've purchased from Radical Firearms in the past since it's about 10 mins away from my home. Very trustworthy company that doesn't delay your orders. I've put together two 5.56 pistols, from them.

I don't have any personal experience with them, but the people I asked my friends for their opinion on Radical Firearms when I was looking at their cheap .223/5.56 offerings, and they generally have negative opinions on Radical Firearms, and would suggest getting a S&W M&P 15 as an entry level AR over one of these, as it's more likely to be reliable.

However this is a .300, and it's cheap, so it couldn't hurt. Make sure you live in a state that allows SBRs and/or Suppressors, otherwise you're just throwing money at the wind for expensive ammo, no? At least as far as I've heard about .300.

I live in California, so .300 has no use for me unfortunately.

Yeah why would you ever shoot 300BLK if you weren't planning to suppress?

Uninformed buyers who may be panic buying before the election. Think of all the impulse buying that goes on at this site Wink. Hence, I wanted to drop that in there to make sure people were buying this for the right reasons. It's one of the reasons I really like this community... when I first wandered over here I learned a lot from all the great comments, reviews, and opinions on various deals and if they product, even if it was severely discounted, was even worth buying for my circumstances. To me, that's what separates SD from any other website... is a diversely informed community that really gives people a sense about the awesome deal they're going to click on...

...That, and downvoting the really amazing price mistakes in some attempt to prevent us front paging them. shake head

It's a great option for those of us that want to hunt with an AR and already have a 556 setup. Simply swap uppers and everything works. No need to buy a whole new rifle.

I wouldn't hunt whitetail with 5.56 but 300BLK does the job perfectly.
