New pebble coming soon which is why these are plummeting in price lately. Great watch, but if you want to wait another month or two you'll really get a deal.

You know for sure they'll go lower? I'd be surprised if they hit $49. They are still selling retail for $149.99. I doubt that these lowball resellers are making much, so $49 would be giving them away, unless they are selling refurbs or possibly damaged (and I'm not alleging that- I give them the benefit of the doubt if they claim it's new).

If you're having trouble deciding whether to get the Time 2 instead, here is what changed in the Time 2:
  • Stainless-steel clad
  • Heart monitor
  • 10 vs. 7 day battery life per charge
  • 1.5in. 200x228px screen vs. 1.25in. 144x168px (identical length and width 40.5mm x 37.5mm)
  • Slightly thicker and heavier (10.8mm thick and 64.6g vs. 9.5mm thick and 42.5g)
  • ARM Cortex M7 vs. ARM Cortex M4
  • More glass, less frame

Sucks that this is in-store only.

Got my son an Apple Watch for his 16th birthday. He wore it for less than a week. Apparently it's not cool enough and kids made fun of him. Make sure your kids really want these watches...

Wow.. It seems like they are just jealous of the Apple Watch. It's a neat and expensive smartwatch.

Amazon has them new for under $100, and the red one us $89.99 brand new.

I'm certain they'll go even lower In the next month or two. Same thing is going to happen to the apple watch. But if you're in a hurry to get this now, $60 isn't a terrible deal

What parents think is "neat and expensive" doesn't always equate to kids thinking the same thing.

My daughter is 19 and her whole time in high school, dressing well didn't always mean spending a fortune on clothes. In fact, her and her friends took pride in putting together outfits that looked good but wasn't expensive.
