12/18/2016 - If you've been sitting on some ZMax Pro's for more then 3 months since activation (even without paying past the first months prepaid service) waiting for the price of the unlocking service to go down. You might want to try the unlock app thru Wifi. You might be unlocked for free.

More details here: https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=93946080&postcount=1548

=============================================================

Purchased unlock service from instantunlock.tk more than 30 hours ago. My phone is still locked. You guys probably should be cautious.(update: phone was unlocked last night, took about 45 hours but it did work. jasonboy said there was an outage causing the issue.)

All orders have been processed, as i stated in this post last night, i had a internet outage which caused the delay. Those who had purchased the 0-12 hour unlock were refunded the difference in prices. Sorry for the delay.
=============================================================
If you add second line on your MetroPCS account, you may get additional $5 from the service plan, also discount for the phone, you may get the phone for $25 with phone number port in to MetroPCS.
$56 out of the store with the phone and one month service

Working Unlock

www.instantunlock.tk [instantunlock.tk]

Any orders made after 6 PM will not be processed until the next business day. The server is down on weekends for maintenance and no unlocks will be processed.

Metro PCS App unlock 1-2 Business days: 14.99
Metro PCS App Unlock 1 Business day: 17.99

If ordering 2 unlocks, use code bulk2 for 2 for 26 (1-2 Business days)

I was told by my reseller that Metro PCS caught the exploit they were using initially and the new method is more costly.

I ordered for $15.. this is of course exploitation money.. cause it was $8 and probably less..

So who is selling this exploitation but working unlock??

w_antoni12 [ebay.com] (as reported earlier in this thread) the unlock auction [ebay.com]...

Okay here is proof of my zmax pro registering and working on att.. however my provider name shall remain secret even if some aholes blast it all over the internet Wink Normally I get tmobile at -100 db so that's one kind of proof too.. (the -70 being att) but the reason there is a red X up there is that's the wifi calling saying it's not working...

Attachment 4526999

Also the unlock took about 6-8 hours as he advertises.. I ordered it at lets say midnight last night.. so remember $3.50 unlock failed.. $5.25 unlock failed.. but this one did succeed..

phone is 100. you get 60 off when you port in your number. so its comes out to 40. but you also need to pay for first month. the lowest is 30. so 40+30=70

This was mentioned in the original Zmax Pro/MetroPCS thread. Also some folks were successful at getting a google voice # ported in but were charged a $15 "activation fee".

Looks like the phone is $100 only after a $60 rebate. Should be mentioned in the OP. Not everyone wants to do rebates.

What other networks does this phone work on? The question of the hour, as always.

you can unlock the device after three months of having service making it usable with any carrier and also when porting in to get the price op mentioned the port in can't be from a subsidiary of T-Mobile or T-Mobile itself so a heads up
I'm a metro PCs employee

no activation fee only 40 plus tax and the thirty for first month service here in Cali comes out to roughly 73 with some change close to 74 for port in customers

Just wanted to let everyone know, this deal is extra slick if you are a current Metro Customer. I am a current customer with the $60 unlimited plan, and I wanted to add a line with this phone and then cancel it right after.

I was able to get the $60 credit, had to pay only $25 up front for the new line, because I am a current customer. When I got home I immediately cancelled the new line, and was credited back to my account since I kept my original line open. Then I was able to move the sim from my old phone to my Zmax Pro. Final cost was $40 + tax.

Honestly, after doing a couple of tweaks (changing the DPI, disabling bloatware, and installing nova launcher) this phone is incredible. I previously was using an iPhone 6s + and previously had a nexus 6p, as well as a LG G4, Nexus 6, Galaxy S6 and various other android phones. This feels very similar to the original Nexus 6. Battery life is excellent with 4.5hr + SOT, camera is decent, fingerprint sensor feels faster than my 6s+ somehow.

I'll be using this phone as my daily driver, keeping in mind i have a 6s+ and 6P at my disposal. I like using cheap phones, and not worrying about it getting stolen/broken.

Also for tmobile customers, you can buy this phone, unlock it through ebay for $5 and you will be good to go!
