I bought the Samsung USB 3.0 drive and ended up returning it. The drive is all metal and looks really nice, and it has a big hole that makes you think you should add it to your key ring. Here are a few pictures of the USB drive on my key ring before I sent it back:

It's a really nice drive, but this one major design flaw had me return it and get the Kingston USB 3.0 drive [amazon.com] instead.

What's the flaw? That the 'ring' on it is too large and causes it to stick in wierd angles? Is it easily moved or do you have to rearrange keys to get it unstuck?

The flaw is that it doesn't lay flush with the key ring. It lays flush when it's on one side of the ring and not the other. That would cause me to spend a few seconds all the time reorganizing my keys on my keyring. Samsung advertises that the drive should be able to fit on a standard key ring like you can see on this Amazon page [amazon.com], or direct image here [imgur.com].

My Kingston flash drive sits flush on my key ring no matter what. This [imgur.com]isn't my image or drive, but it's the same style.

I was only posting to help anyone else that sees that they would have the same issue if they bought this drive.

Adding a small ring between the USB drive and your keyring is a workaround. But I agree -- it's a dumb form-over-function design, blocks the USB port above and still bulges in the pocket. Kingston has a better design but it has dismal write speed (especially random write).

My first thought was; "That's attractive".
My second thought was; "I wonder how it will actually 'hang'.
The answer lay in this thread.

The Team Micro SD has a lot of failures according to Newegg reviews. Do not buy IMHO.
