If you are in the market for a great sounding bluetooth speaker, I'd would recommend giving this a look.
Probably not the best speaker for it's rugged build but it's top notch for sound quality (compared to those that are waterproof/dustproof etc)
Amazon currently has this for $132, 1600+ review 4.6/5.0 Stars, as a reference.

He says this is comparable to the Bose Soundlink which runs at around $300 (not the mini)

I can't believe how many creative sound cards I had bought over the years and was disappointed in them every time.

I don't think I'll ever buy another creative product.

Great post had this been the Roar 2 I'd be all over this. I owned the Roar 2 before buying an iPad Pro 9.7 and the Roar 2 is amazing if it's placed in a corner of a room it fills the room with sound. But with Quad speakers on the iPad Pro I felt a speaker was not needed.

Really looking towards an Roar 2 sale at $99 bucks. Connecting with HD audio files with aptX support from my Note 5 you really appreciate the extra clarity and richness that products which lack aptX don't deliver.

Then you have / had shit speakers. Creative make great cards. Their driver support hasn't always been on point, but that's what Daniel K's work is all about.

After some heavy research, I determined the last three or top three choices would be:
TDK A33 or A34
Sony SRSX5
or the Creative Sound Blaster Roar or Roar 2

These things have a subwoofer to out put great bass and they're so compact.

This has been this price for quite some time so if you're looking don't feel the need to rush. I didn't consider it a deal so I never posted it. I ended up with a GGMM M3 after my research as it fit my needs best.

Maybe he was disappointed because discrete sounds cards are mostly pointless these days. No freaking discernible sound quality difference between realtek and that expensive sound card.

Yeah. I am still rocking my Creative Labs soundblaster live Zs Platinum Pro sound card, that I probably paid $150 for. Stick Out Tongue

It's probably not the OPs fault. Slickdeals converts every link into their affiliate link so they get paid for every click.

FYI these are back in stock at Creative's website for $99.99

I just purchased the mega stereo deluxe pack myself that comes with 2 speakers, 2 carrying cases, and 1 mega-audio cable for $199.99

How do I revive this from "expired" ?
Or does an admin have to do it?
