I posted this deal last year and it's back. Costco has a the Cloud (soft) and Contour (firm) lines of Tempur-Pedic mattresses on sale through 9/5. These mattresses rarely go on and sale so this is a great opportunity to snag one if if you're in the market for them. Costco will pay for S&H and the Costco return policy applies. I originally ordered the Cloud but found it too soft, in December when this deal came alive again I ordered the Contour and returned the Cloud. No questions asked by Costco. 8 months later and I still really like the Contour.

King:
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme King Mattress Set $2,299.99
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Contour Select King Mattress Set $2,099.99
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme King Mattress $1,899.99
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Contour Select King Mattress $1,699.99

Queen:
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme Queen Mattress Set $1,899.99
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Contour Select Queen Mattress Set $1,699.99
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Cloud Supreme Queen Mattress $1,599.99
TEMPUR-Pedic TEMPUR-Contour Select Queen Mattress $1,399.99

I need a new mattress and read the reviews on this. The bad reviews say it's not the current model. Is that still true? How do I find out?

It is the "old" model, but I can't tell any difference. I've been using it for 6 months now and I notice no discomfort in the heat.

I think new versions have the "Breeze" which is some type of improved cooling and air flow on the cover which makes the mattress less hot. Check it out, but from my research a couple weeks ago that's what I kinda figured out.

I ordered a loom and leaf mattress last week, haven't gotten it yet, hope it's good!

I couldn't rely on the reviews so based on some research, I went with Nest Bedding and got their Alexander Signature Hybrid. I got to spend a lot of time on the mattress in a local store here in Santa Monica. They applied the discounts you could find online and even gave me a free set of king sized sheets.

What you find out when you do a lot of research is there's a lot of paid sites out there and a lot of bogus reviews. There was one mattress forum that recommended shopping local with a reputable company because these foam mattress companies are a dime a dozen these days. Try it out and give your business to whoever was most helpful and had the best product. Costco has a great return policy and they will always take care of you, but they don't have these mattresses in stock that you can try before you buy at any store around me.

Spent last night on the Nest bed and boy did we sleep well.

What's a Tempur Pedic Select model? I have been looking at a Contour Elite at Mattress Firm but don't see any info on what the Contour Select is model on Tempur Pedics website.

Thoughts on the Tempur-pedic countour select? I recognize sleeping on your stomach is the worst way to sleep for your lower back, but what's a good mattress that can potentially support (bad habit of...) sleeping on your stomach?
