Its a new product cheaper and lighter then the last one which had 82 lasers in it. I called the CS rep at QVC, I was told that it has 6 month return policy so if this doesn't work for you, it can be returned. From what I have heard 6 months should be enough to know if it works or not.
Legitimacy of the low level lasers have been little sketchy but personally I want to do everything I can to keep my stage 1 MPB under control and I guess there is no harm in trying this. For $434 this is much cheaper then other devices out there, the only thing different here is 3 minutes treatment time instead of 90 seconds which Laserband 82 offers. And FYI, this is a pre-order and ships September 26 according to Hairmax rep. The price might go up after the release. If anyone knows more about these products I'd be very interested in what you have to say about them Smilie

OP, I highly doubt price will go up. I have had good luck controlling it with Costco Finasteride & Proscar (cut pills into 1/4's) & just this year, started using Nizoral shampoo.

Thanks for the reply bud. My hair thinning is still out of control so I am still gonna wait for my pre order to ship.

Used it for 6 months without slacking but no significant results. I am in very early stage of MPB so it's kinda hard to tell if it really did something but compared to 6 months ago, now I am able to see a small shining spot on the back of my head! It didn't stop the thinning for me but as it says on the product, it might not work for some people... So if you are desperate enough for new treatments, give it a try, it comes with a 180 day extended return policy only if you buy from QVC so you can return in 6 months if it doesn't work. I just returned mine for full price return minus shipping and handling ($5).
