Interesting product. It's HomeKit enabled, but some reviews say it doesn't work with HomeKit. It's going to be interesting to see how this works.

So I set mine up a few days ago and so far it's been flawless with HomeKit.

The relay clicks a little loud when it turns on, that was my only, incredibly minor, nitpick.

Yes! I got mine too. It really works wonderfully. The app is nice and the energy meter works well. It's a bargain at $25 and worth it at full price, too. Even the box was very nice.

I'm hoping to figure a way to get it working with a home automation hub, or openhab, home bridge, etc.

What do you guys use these for? I'm trying to figure out what cool stuff I could use them for at home.

So far I've put them on lights in my living room, it's pretty cool. I set up a 'full illumination' scene which lights my living room up like a stadium, and 'hey siri good night' makes my house go dark. It's pretty cool at the very least, but I feel like I'll get used to it and not know how I ever lived without it.

The upcoming iOS10 will have some nice additions which will make it even better.

What are you trying to get it to do that you want the hubs? I like these over the others because they don't require a hub at all.

Also, iOS10 will have a pretty significant expansion to homekit. I'm assuming you're an iOS household, otherwise it's kind of moot to buy these.

I have this powering a portable dehumidifier—apartment where a whole house isn't possible. I'd like to sync it to turn on only when the fan/AC runs (Nest thermostat now, perhaps Ecobee soon). To do that I suspect I'll need at least IFTT, if not a hub or open source automation server running locally.

Also, I do use mostly iOS devices. But I'd prefer not be locked into just HomeKit, and be able mix in z-wave devices...or for if we ever switch away from iOS.
