This is way more expensive for me since I'm on the 20GB double to 40GB promotion from way way back.

I'm still on my mobile share plan, 20GB plan (doubled from 10GB free) plus free rollover from unused data from previous month.

128kbps if you go over? Why are they bringing dial-up speeds back?

Not a good deal. If you switch over the smartphone access price jumps from 15 to 20. In my case I have 4 lines with the 15 gb / $100 offer.

100+60 = 160

Under the new plan I get 1 extra giga for $90, but the access fee is now higher

90 + 80 = 170

Leave it to AT&T to sneak in a higher access fee. I have six lines; no thanks.

Same here, so glad I popped in here to see what was REALLY going on! lol

Even with my FAN discount - not worth it!

My current plan:
3gb + 3gb Free = 6gb = $40
$12 discount (30% FAN discount)
3 lines at $25
Total = $103

New Plan
6gb = $60
$18 discount (30% FAN discount)
3 lines at $20
Total = $102

To make it a $1 cheaper?

Thoughts:
1. I am also debating if I should just changed to the 15gb current plan.
2. The new plan is without any retention offer. So wondering if there will be any retention offer with the new plan (for ex: the old plans received double data free offers).

The only reason I can see is when the new iPhone comes out, they can't MAKE you change since you would already be on the plan ( assuming you are going with the NEXT plan)

But I see your point, you can always use the extra $12.00 SOMEWHERE...

They changed it again? Jeez. It seems that it's getting more and more expensive for the data we use. Also I hate their data caps on home internet. A few Xbox one and pc game updates and I am at my limit.

Time to switch providers.

I will still keep my 450 anytime minutes with 5000 night and weekend and unlimited data with 1500 texts for $69.98 with taxes, fees, and my 23% off FAN discount. I have so many rollover minutes that expire. I haven't got an overage once since I pulled my line of my dad's account. My account is so old that when I wanted a new sim card the store wrote off the sim card to my account then told to me activate it at home or use their phone to activate it.
