DDR4 memory pieces don't work with DDR3 slots, do they? I intend to build a very cheap pc with this board http://www.microcenter.com/produc...otherboard and the 4-5 years old AMD FX6300 CPU (the board + cpu are about $105 at a microcenter store); I'm thinking of not buying a case but hanging the mainboard under the table Smilie So I'm looking for DDR3 memory deals.

Are these bad prices for the 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3L 1600 (PC3L 12800) memory? I haven't had to purchase memory in years and haven't kept up with the prices.

You know, it's pretty ignorant to TD someone for incorrect information when you're coming to a deal almost 10 hours after it was posted. Obviously $44.09 was a price mistake... that's why I shared it. Memory hasn't been that price for over a month due to a tightness in supply.

People take a lot of time putting together threads. Unless you want to go through and sort all of the memory sizes yourself, show some appreciation, not negativity.

The prices were double or more just a year or so ago. Thankfully they are close to where they were 3 or 4 years ago. You can go plug one of these models into your favorite price tracker.
