2-days only at Fry's 8/19-8/20. This is the cheapest 65" 4K TV I have ever seen. Definitely an off-brand and a dumb TV with no built in apps, but may be worth trying for someone who wants to try 4K with a Roku 4 or for use as a computer monitor, although obviously is not 120Hz or probably 4:4:4@4K 60Hz either.

Model is ProScan PLDED6535A-UHD and the important specs are as follows:

- 60Hz - Which honestly is not a big deal, especially at this price point
- 8ms response time
- 4 HDMI inputs (with HDCP 2.2 for connecting streaming devices)
- 3000:1 contrast (Not IPS, good picture if you can view from straight on/close to straight on)
- Does have OPTICAL audio out (many cheapies have coax digital out, old connection that few soundbars support). Sound IS bad on this TV, just get a $35 soundbar even if you are cheap.

Also, Fry's picture shows it with a bar stand across the front while other pics show it feet at the ends of the TV, which would require a very wide stand.

Must sign up for Fry's promo codes and be near a store for pickup at $599. With HH Gregg, you can have it shipped but adds $100 to the price for $730 total, While Fry's can be shipped "free", but without promo at $799.

Save your money, size isn't everything, how you use it matters... For the record the deal on a 65 is not bad... But it's worth a wait especially for something that size to go with something a little more feature and spec rich... I picked up a 55' Samsung 4K for $550 a month ago... so Black Friday I'd expect to see some 65's wishin that price range as well...

Just about all brands use the same decent AUO panels with Samsung and LG using their own panels for higher end models, so your point is moot.... Picture quality will be about the same on this as a $1000 lower end Vizio, Sony or Samsung, you just don't get smart apps or fancy features or adjustment menus.

You know low end Sony and Samsung use the same cheap AUO panels as all the cheap off-brands, right? You are paying for more "polished" menus, smart apps, etc but pic quality is almost identical.

this tv isn't meant for a home environment but for a business like a restaurant/bar or for presentation in an office. for that kind of application size does matter and so does cost.
