Deal Details

For those who use Target Up and Up Diapers...

Today only, in store only. Target has a cartwheel deal 25% off Up and Up Diapers (limit 2) plus Target is giving a $25 gift card back when spending $100 on baby items.

Not the best deal because it's limit two but when getting the gift card back it's almost like getting a box of diapers for free.

According to online prices, giant packs are $28.99, buy 4 and 2 of the boxes come out to $21.74 and plus you get the $25 gift card back. I probably didn't explain it the best, still kind of new to this.

Somewhat of a good price if anyone was waiting to stock up which I needed to do. I like taking advantage of Target double dip deal on diapers. :-)

I think the limit refers to how many times you can use the specific Cartwheel deal. Fine print reads: "Each Cartwheel offer may be used for up to a maximum of 4 qualifying items per offer per transaction, unless otherwise noted."

Can someone more knowledgeable chime in? Does the limit refer to items or to how many times it can be used?

This cartwheel deal is confusing. the deal in the app says "limit 2 per customer" but the fine print wasn't changed so it still says typical "limit 4 per transaction". I say go to Target and try for 4, be nice to a supervisor and they might override for 25% off 4. Looks like you can still do the maximum 6 transactions per day with this cartwheel item though.

The "unless otherwise noted" part of that line is why they don't have to change. It is otherwise noted on the main screen of the cartwheel.

You have to download the cartwheel app. It's similar to a rewards card you would use at a grocery store or drug store.

Ok, so just used this, but only bought 2 giant packs. Also bought a pack of Pampers and Huggies to get to $100. After all discounts and coupons, total came to ~$75 for 520 diapers + a $25 gift card, for just under $.10/diaper (mix of sizes 1 and 2). I think I could have done even better and gotten below .09 each, but hate Target so wanted to get out as fast as possible.

Will likely go again later and have wife do same deal.

So, GC is applied before you show them cartwheel? So if total us $100, you get the $25 GC first, then also get 25% off last. That's not bad.

Sorry if this is a silly question, new at the whole slick deals/coupon thing, but does Target total before or after coupons? Will I only need to hit $100 or will I need to take into consideration the 25% off before getting the $25 gift card?

Have them scan the $25 gift card coupon first to get the gift card. Then have them scan cartwheel. That's what I did and did not have any problems.

You may be able to find the bulk packs (in store only) for $32.99. You can check the sizes each store has available by going to the Target web site and click on the size you are looking for and you should be able to find the stores in your area where they show them in stock. However, they will not be displayed on the floor. You will need to ask someone on the floor to check and they can see if there any in back and if so ,they will need to get them for you. Give the clerk the Target Store Item # (DCPI):
size 3 - #007-01-0089
size 4 - #007-01-0088
size 5 - #007-01-0087

For those that use these, how do they compare to Pampers Swaddlers?

Probably wouldn't use them as over night diapers but as diapers that are worn throughout the day, I haven't experienced any leaking.
