Best buy is selling the Philips Hue white and color set.
3 bulbs and a hub for 179.99 with a $50 gift card netting it down to 129.99.
I know its not as a good as the $80 set from some walmart's a while back
or the $100 at meijers but this one should be easy to get

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Yes, this would be the 2nd gen [meethue.co] considering you are buying the latest directly from Best Buy.

Aren't the second Gen bulbs suppose to have fixed the crappy BLUE & GREEN color issue ?

I have a set of 1st gens and the "blue" is purple - PERIOD ! I kinda hate Philips for that.

They always worked with Apple, second gen hub supports Siri.

Brighter only on some white setting, you might not notice much difference.

Blue and green still not that great on second gen.

I wonder if HD would pricematch BB deal plus 10% off and give a HD gift card? Plus there's the 5% cashback (Doubled to 10% for some) Discover deal at HD. Might be worth a shot.

On Prime day, BB had these for $125.

At $120-130ish after $50 GC and $10 VCO, but before tax, this is a good price just for the 3 LED lights ($140 w/tax, so $47ea) as they retail for $59 each.

These 2nd gen 800 lumen white/color led lights still have the purplish-blue color. The only difference between the 1st gen and 2nd gen is the +200 lumens.
