With coupons I think you can get 2 of these with $40 in points coming back. Not tried it, fussy baby atm.

Not a bad deal overall....but I would stay away from 12v.....I wouldn't buy anything that is under 24v battery power. They don't have the 'power' or 'battery time' needed for most jobs.

According to some review feedback the newer mini light has a ghost drain when the light is off. I have some of the older model lights [sears.com] and they work great. The basic dumb charger can still be purchased on ebay for $15.

I get a total of $59.99 for 2 batteries with $39.99 in points. Does that make these $10 each for me?

Nextec tools are great...it baffles me why Sears has basically half discontinued them. i don't get it. either discontinue them or continue the line of tools.

nothing beats the 2013 deals though. my entire Nextec line-up is from 2013, though i've been slowly weening myself away from them and to M12 as a means of protecting myself in case Sears yanks Nextec all together

had a coupon for $10 in points on a $50 purchase. It stacked with the $15 back on each battery when I bough two.

Thanks, man, got one of each! Been using my 12 Nextec tools all weekend, and love them. Good to stock up on some extra batteries, now, before I need them.

I thought the same thing. These are something else tho. I used the hammer drill to lay plywood in my bathroom. Plenty of power and I only used one battery charge. I love the hammer drill. For the size of the battery these things are awesome!

No because it's not physical cash coming back. Your out of pocket cost is 60 and the points you get will have to be for a different purchase kind of lame as sears can be like staples.

Can someone verify/clarify that the battery in the light/battery combo is the same battery (size) as the battery sold by itself.

Nextec = discontinuedtec, forgottentec. It's good for small Jobs I wouldn't buy this at full price for points back. Sears deals and products to buy are lacking. Now if this was amazon fark yeahhhhhhh
