If you replace your battery ever 4-5 days you are doing something wrong. I get 30 second clips anytime there is movement and my batteries last about 3 months.

Has the clip length been increased? I thought the maximum used to be 15 seconds?

I get maybe two to three weeks max with mine. I got some rechargeable ones and they last maybe two weeks at a time. I don't do the recording clips as they are in high movement area and they are viewed a couple times a week for maybe 1-2 hours

I received a set of these cameras last month and the batteries are still going strong (25 sec recordings) but the delay is really hard to deal with. its about a 3-5 sec delay and usually the person is walking away from the door by the time it starts recording.

I bought the 2 camera kit a couple weeks ago from Newegg under a different promo.

I haven't set them up outdoors yet, but I have been testing indoors in the laundry room and garage to see how well they work and that delay... it is hard. By the time it starts recording the person is either leaving or already left the room which makes it useless.

I can't seem to find a way to change the recording from the 10 second limit yet, but I haven't really dug into it much.

So, 2 of these comes out to 246.79 which is slightly less than the 2 pack with the promo, and I'd end up with an extra hub. Am I missing something or is that the way to go?

I have the Arlo Q (powered) and it has about a 15-20 second delay. So live viewing isnt the best but recordings are pretty good. Every once and awhile it misses stuff (for our high traffic office) and I dont like how it usually stops recording clips after 15 seconds. Overall, I still really like the cameras. Very good quality and free 7 day cloud recording. They have been improving over the months too, and I assume it will keep getting better.
