It would be a bummer to win the Grand Prize....and pay taxes at over $8,000 per per person.

Do some math...Lets say Hotel and Air was $2,000 per person...thats around $24,000.

$300 total for each guest, x12 = ~$4,000

So DJ, some food/drinks, and tablets are worth over $70,000??? I get they pay the estimated taxes, but think this trip would be a liability based on how it affects other taxes you pay.

Yea, even if they gave a plasma tv to each person it might add another $20,000

Whenever you win a trip, you should do a "dummy booking" for the exact itinerary on the same date they book your trip. Then print it out and do a revised ACV/MSRP when tax time comes around (I did that when I won a trip in the past - and saved the print out in case I got audited).

Thus far, no problems with ARVs. Some trips even came in under budget, and companies made proper adjustments.
