Where do you get the "as refund to your CC after 30-40 days"?

The details [http://www.buydig.com/shop/produc...delivered] state that rewards are "towards any future purchase" and makes no mention of crediting the purchaser's CC.

If you have a Discover Card, then you can buy through Sears Online website, you should get 5% back, which is nice if you're within the first year holder 'double cash back' program, to total 10%. I highly doubt the BuyDiguydig 6% in credit stacks if it is purchased through the Sears site.

Edit: OP had originally claimed that 6% would be credited back to the credit card after 30-40 days, which obviously is quite incorrect and OP never mentioned a DVD player.

Honest (non-trolling) question about the 8000 TV. I see its motion rate is 240, I know that's not Hz, so is it really a 120Hz or is it 60.
I read somewhere that the motion rate is double what the real refresh rate is, but not everything on the net is true.

I've been looking for this tv, and even set an alert last night for it, but it never triggered.

Don't the newest tvs come out in September? Wouldn't that be a better time to hold out for one, price wise? For the little I've been comparison shopping, 1800 for this tv alone is a good deal, just yesterday this thing was at $2000 everywhere.

‚ÄčThe 'True Motion" or "motion rate" is marketing fluff, but the refresh rate is 120, which I think is the bare minimum for modern devices, especially to avoid judder.

Concerning the latter part of our post: "Don't the newest tvs come out in September "
You are right. The newer models do come out in Sept. but at a premium price and do not go on sale for several months. The same models will be on clearance during the following March.
If you have the money, by all means buy the new models as soon as they come out.

I bought a Sony TV in March, 1K cheaper than it was 8 month earlier.

Depends on how deep your pockets are???
If you want value... purchase this TV.
If you want not notch picture quality go for the OLED and pay through the nose for it..

What a dumb question! Your post is just as helpful as asking, "This one or a new boat?"

What do you like? What do you want more? Good luck finding a OLED 65" in this price range.

I'm only mentioning the newer model to see when the price drops for this one.

I'll find the link and post soon, but my wife just told me the Costco version is now $1700

Wow, this stuff is dropping. Maybe BF will mean a new TV for me. I would prefer a stand alone 4K UHD player and not a XBOX one S.

Nice thread.

Ratings on UHD BD players are not that great. Hope the quality goes up soon.
