Garbage people like you are why small businesses can't succeed, and why great companies like REI have changed policies.

Debating between this laptop and this one

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-en...Id=5295100

I mainly want to use it for everyday use. I could do some slight gaming, but not really that big of a deal. Outside of normal computing I would like to watch Netflix/Sling on the couch or bed so sound and video quality is high on my list.

Can anyone provide some input? I am leaning towards the Envy because it is 100 dollars cheaper but I am hesitant because of AMD and motherboard issues.

compare to that model Lenovo has ssd and hp has hdd. If you don't really download much stuff but stream most of the times ssd is way to go. also hp is known for heating issues on laptops and the fan running constantly so I don't know you want to deal with it plus it's amd

it is completely beyond me that a 15.6 inch laptop has such a tiny right shift key. that too from a company which makes thinkpads that have the best keyboards in the industry.

What do you think about this for a daughter heading off to college who will bike to class? Just right? Too big? General use + a little video editing.

I'm going on a month-long trip to Europe in September and I'll be working from there. What retailers should I be looking for in order to be able to buy a laptop then return when I'm back, if possible? preferably looking for something in the 11-14inch range so I can carry in my daypack.
