Cheapest I've seen on this model for a 'new-in'box' - price is good both in-store and online.

If you need pre-outs this is not for you - otherwise, an excellent performer for the money and arguably the cheapest in the 'step-up' AVRs. I've had mine for 3+ months now and love it.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If you play on using with the Xbox One S and want 4k 4:4:4 video - this will do it on three of the inputs (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, BD) From the manual, page 76:

Hmm...this vs x2200? Grabbed the latter for $360, but running at 75% volume for home theater and trying to decide if it's worth the money for the extra headroom.

need the SC-95 to do a 5.4.2 living room , if I am going to upgrade it's best to go for the top of the format .

I had tried the x3200/4200 as well as the sc95 and for my specific set-up (5.1(1or2 subs)) in a poorly designed room) opted for this SC-91. I understand there to be little(if any) sonic difference between the x3200/2200 and thought the x3200 sounded very good. I thought the SC-91 sounded a bit better/cleaner overall but mainly kept it for the EQ control and audio preset options. As long as you can easily return it, I think it's worth trying out.

It's a better receiver but you won't notice much improvement in terms of amplifier, you must have speakers that are difficult to drive, what speakers are you using?

Sc-95 does not support 5.4.2. I don't think any avr supports 4 independent subwoofer channels.

The "4" is ATMOS.

If you ran Audessy this could be the equalization.
