Hi All,

I bought one of these a few months back to have on hand for travel. I'm glad I have it, however, I wanted to post here on the WIKI regarding the issue I was surprised about: IT'S BIG. I had no idea it would be so big. I expected it to be similar in size to the "three outlet splitters" that are common (they don't surge protect, just take one outlet and split it to three). However, this is much larger. Which definitely makes sense due to the gear for surge suppression.

Anyways, dimensions are:
7.2 inches x 2.2 inches x 5.16 inches

Let me help: link [amazon.com]

It's Amazon's Deal of the Day and is a great price, tied with the all-time low according to 3camel.

This thing is for travel but it has 3 prong connector, where most countries oversea only have 2 prong outlets, unless you only travel within the US Smilie

Bought this 3 years ago at a price a buck higher. I travel with it every month and it's a good piece. It's larger than it seems and takes up a lot more space than you might think, but the swivel alone makes it worth carrying... so many places where outlets are inconveniently located or oriented and this helps. I really could do with one that's smaller but keeps the swivel, like maybe this with just a single plug but keeping the 2 USB ports.

This is really nice. I have the older one which only puts out 500 mA per USB port, but it came in quite handy while traveling. Some airports have almost no plugs intended for passengers to use.

Is it me, or is this just a little too expensive? When we travel, we can end up with more than 10 devices so we already have a couple of 5-USB chargers.

When traveling overseas, this device would offer 2 extra outlets - and I cannot find any more use than that. The surge protection is nice, but may not work when traveling overseas - depending on the type of converter you use or the country itself (i.e. 2-prong in many EU countries).

Wow, after 15 years, they are still selling this without any design change. Amazing! The biggest con is the location of those 2 USB ports, and they are too close to each other. Other than that, it's fine. My parents still using it after i move out of the house.

Just bought one of these and am super excited to take it backpacking with me.

Have heard really good things from people who own it! I've also seen this retail for like $20+ elsewhere...

I have this unit and it will only handle 110v, not 220v. It charges my iPad S...L...O....W....L...Y.

When going to Europe, I had to buy a different unit, paired with a plug adapter and made sure all my devices could handle 220. Unfortunately I fried one device that I forget to check! Mad
